01Terms of Service
1.Who we are and what this agreement covers
OnlyClips is operated by OnlyClips LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("OnlyClips," "we," "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and OnlyClips covering your use of onlyclips.app, our web app, our APIs and every related service (together, the "Service").
These Terms include, by reference, the other policies on this page: the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, AI, Voice & Likeness Policy, Creator & Earnings Terms, Campaign & Sponsor Terms, Developer API Terms, Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds, Copyright & DMCA Policy and the Intimate Image & Privacy Takedown procedure. If a specific policy conflicts with these general Terms on its own subject, the specific policy controls.
You accept these Terms by checking the agreement box when you create an account, or by using the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or brand, you confirm you are authorized to bind it, and "you" includes that company.
2.Eligibility and your account
- Age. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to create an account or use any feature that requires an account. Anyone may view public pages without an account. If we learn that an account holder is under 18, we will close the account and delete its personal data, except anything we must keep by law.
- One person, one account. Creator and viewer accounts belong to one real person. Brands may add team members through team features. You may not buy, sell, rent or transfer an account.
- Accurate information. Keep your sign-in email and profile accurate. Don't impersonate anyone.
- Security. You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your sign-in method secure and tell us right away at hello@onlyclips.app if you think your account was compromised.
- Sanctions. You may not use the Service if you are barred from receiving services under U.S. sanctions or export laws.
3.What the Service does
OnlyClips is a toolkit for making, licensing and distributing short-form video. Depending on your plan it includes the Studio editor, AI Polish and other AI features, the licensed Footage library, SuperVision multi-angle matching, the Vault, cross-posting to accounts you connect, Clip Programs, Clip Campaigns, Rights Requests, the Inbox and the Developer API. Most editing and rendering happens on your own device, in your browser.
- Features change. We add, change and retire features. If we remove a core feature of a paid plan in the middle of a paid period, we will tell you in advance and offer a prorated refund for the remainder of that period if you ask for one.
- Beta features are labeled "beta." They may be incomplete, may change and are provided without any commitment that they will continue.
- No guarantee of results. We do not promise views, followers, earnings or that any platform will accept or keep your posts.
4.Plans, billing and cancellation
Prices, plan features and any free-trial offer are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Paid plans renew automatically and are governed by Section 8 (Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds), which explains renewal, cancellation, price changes and refunds. You can cancel at any time in Settings.
5.Your content and the license you give us to run the Service
You own your content. "Your content" means the video, audio, images, text, voice recordings and other material you upload, record, create or post through the Service. OnlyClips does not claim ownership of it.
So we can operate the Service for you, you grant OnlyClips a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transcode, analyze, edit at your direction, render, display and transmit your content, and to publish it to the accounts and channels you choose. This license lets us run the features you use. It does not let us sell your content to anyone or use it in advertising for OnlyClips without your permission. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except for (a) copies in routine backups until they roll off, (b) content you shared publicly or licensed to others under Clause 8 or a Clip Program, Rights Request or campaign, which continue under those terms, and (c) anything we must keep by law.
SuperVision. If you publish a clip, our systems may compare its audio fingerprint, time and location signals against other OnlyClips clips to find other angles of the same moment. Your footage is only combined into another person's multi-angle composite if you have licensed it for that use, and you are paid the contributor share described in Section 5.
6.Connected platforms
When you connect a third-party account (for example YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or X), you authorize us to act on that account only as you direct, such as posting a clip you chose. You can disconnect at any time in Settings, and you can also revoke access from the platform's own settings. Each platform's own terms and policies apply to what you post there, and we are not responsible for a platform's decisions about your content or account.
YouTube. OnlyClips uses YouTube API Services. By using features that connect to YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke OnlyClips' access to your Google data at any time through Google's security settings.
7.AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence, as described in the AI, Voice & Likeness Policy. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or unexpected. Review every edit, caption, translation and suggestion before you publish it; you are responsible for what you post. Content that is substantially AI-generated or AI-modified carries an "AI Creative" label, and you may not remove, cover or crop it.
8.Creator License and Content Warranty
This is the clause the Studio, Clip Programs, Rights Requests and Record me screens refer to as "Clause 8." It applies every time you upload footage, record yourself, check a rights box, publish a clip or license footage to others.
8.1 Your warranty. Each time you upload, record, license or publish content through the Service, you represent and warrant that:
- you created the content yourself, or you have every license, permission and release needed to use it the way you are using it, including from the owners of any footage, music, audio, artwork, logos or text in it;
- if an identifiable person appears or is heard in it, you have any consent the law requires for your use of their image, likeness or voice, and you have not recorded anyone in a private place or private conversation without their consent where the law requires it;
- the content does not infringe or misappropriate anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights, and does not violate any law or our Community Guidelines; and
- any recording you identify as yourself (for example in Record me, Ghost Mode or Your Voice) really is you.
8.2 Publishing license. When you confirm the rights prompt for a clip, you grant OnlyClips a worldwide, non-exclusive license to edit, render, caption, watermark (including the OnlyClips lock and any "AI Creative" label), publish and distribute that clip to the accounts and channels you choose, and to display it on OnlyClips, with any credit line attached.
8.3 Licenses to clippers. If you add footage to a Clip Program or approve a Rights Request, you also grant the approved clippers a non-exclusive license to download that footage, cut clips from it with OnlyClips tools, and publish those clips to their verified accounts, subject to the rules, credit line and revenue split you set, for as long as the license is live. The clippers receive no other rights in your footage.
8.4 Revocation. You may revoke a license at any time from the screen where you granted it. Revocation stops new clips and new posts immediately. Clips already posted through OnlyClips will be taken down from OnlyClips and, where we have posting access, from the connected accounts, within 30 days. Revocation does not cancel a license you separately gave a sponsor in a signed deal, which lasts for the term stated in that deal, and does not undo earnings already paid.
8.5 Library footage. Footage from the OnlyClips Footage library or Open Library comes from public-domain, CC0, CC BY or similar sources, or from licensed stock providers. You must keep any required credit line in your caption, must not imply that the original creator or a government agency endorses you, and must follow the license shown with each item.
8.6 Responsibility. If your warranty in 8.1 is untrue, you are responsible for the resulting claims, as set out in Clause 17, and we may remove the content, withhold earnings tied to it and suspend your account.
9.Content rules and moderation
All content and conduct must follow the Community Guidelines. Our publish gate blocks clips whose parts are not cleared for use. We may review, label, age-restrict, limit the reach of, refuse or remove any content, and we may report content to law enforcement or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children where the law requires or allows. We are not obligated to monitor content, and we are not responsible for content posted by users.
10.Earnings
Revenue sharing, Clip Program and campaign earnings, payouts and taxes are governed by the Creator & Earnings Terms. Nothing in these Terms makes you an employee, partner or agent of OnlyClips.
11.Our property
The Service, including its software, design, SuperVision technology, OMG Meter, models we host, sound and meme libraries we own, and our names and logos, belongs to OnlyClips LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service under these Terms. OnlyClips™, SuperVision™ and OMG Meter™ are trademarks of OnlyClips LLC. Open-source components are licensed under their own terms, listed in our third-party notices.
12.What you may not do
- Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service or other users' content, except through the Developer API within its terms.
- Copy, reverse engineer, decompile or build a competing product from the Service, except where the law allows it despite this restriction.
- Bypass, disable or interfere with the publish gate, watermarks, AI labels, usage limits, payment checks or security features.
- Probe or test the Service's security without our written permission. Report vulnerabilities to hello@onlyclips.app.
- Use bots, fake accounts or paid engagement to inflate views, earnings or rankings, or submit false view reports.
- Use the Service to break any law or anyone else's rights, or to send spam.
13.Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
14.Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access, or remove content, if you breach these Terms, if we must do so by law, or if your use creates risk or legal exposure for OnlyClips or others. Where practical and lawful, we will tell you why and give you a chance to appeal through the support page. On termination, your license to use the Service ends. Earnings that are validly owed to you will be paid under the Creator & Earnings Terms, except earnings tied to fraud, invalid activity or content that breached Clause 8. Clauses 5 (for licenses that survive), 8, 11 and 15–20 survive termination.
15.Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, OnlyClips disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that AI output will be accurate.
16.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, OnlyClips and its members, managers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from or related to the Service or these Terms. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to OnlyClips in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $100.
These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including liability for fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, and they do not reduce earnings validly owed to you.
17.Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless OnlyClips and its members, managers, employees and agents from third-party claims, and the related losses and reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your breach of these Terms (including Clause 8) or your violation of law or another person's rights. We will tell you about the claim and may take part in its defense with our own counsel.
18.Disputes, arbitration and class-action waiver
Please read this clause carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration instead of a jury trial or class action. You can opt out within 30 days (18.6).
18.1 Talk to us first. Before filing a claim, send a written notice describing the dispute and the relief you want to hello@onlyclips.app (we will send ours to your account email). Both sides will try in good faith to resolve it within 60 days.
18.2 Arbitration. If it is not resolved, you and OnlyClips agree that any dispute arising from or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (or, for business users, its Commercial Arbitration Rules). The Federal Arbitration Act governs this clause. The arbitrator decides all issues, except that a court decides questions about the scope, enforceability or validity of the class-action waiver and the mass-arbitration procedures. Hearings may be held by video, or in your home county or Bell County, Texas. We will pay the AAA filing, administration and arbitrator fees for consumer claims under US $10,000 that are not frivolous.
18.3 Exceptions. Either side may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either side may ask a court for an injunction to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property or to stop a security breach.
18.4 Class-action waiver. Claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action, and the arbitrator may not consolidate claims of different people without both sides' consent.
18.5 Mass filings. If 25 or more similar arbitration demands are filed against OnlyClips by or with the help of the same law firm or organization, they will be administered in batches of up to 50, with one arbitrator per batch, and fees will be assessed per batch to the extent the AAA rules allow. The statute of limitations is paused for claims waiting in a later batch.
18.6 Opt-out. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing hello@onlyclips.app from your account email with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your name and username. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
18.7 Governing law and courts. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any claim not subject to arbitration will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Bell County, Texas, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a country whose laws give you the right to bring claims in your local courts, nothing here removes that right.
19.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app before the change takes effect, except where a change is required sooner by law or to address a safety issue. If you continue to use the Service after the effective date, the new Terms apply. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and close your account. Changes to Clause 18 will not apply to a dispute already notified to the other side.
20.General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the policies they include are the entire agreement between you and OnlyClips about the Service, unless you signed a separate written agreement with us.
- Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Severability and waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver.
- Force majeure. Neither side is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
- Notices. We may send notices to your account email or in the app. Send legal notices to hello@onlyclips.app.
- Language. If we provide a translation, the English version controls.
02Privacy Policy
Who is responsible
OnlyClips LLC, a Texas limited liability company, is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@onlyclips.app.
What stays on your device
These features run inside your browser. The media they work on is not uploaded to OnlyClips for them:
- video rendering and export (ffmpeg in your browser);
- auto-captions and transcripts (an open-source speech model downloaded to your browser);
- AI voices, noise removal and Your Voice (your voice recording and the voice profile made from it stay in your browser storage);
- face detection for bystander blur, background removal and Ghost Mode cut-outs.
If you then publish or upload the result, the published file is handled as "content" below.
What we collect
| Category | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Email, name, username, role, profile photo; basic profile from Google if you sign in with Google | Create and secure your account |
| Content | Clips you upload or publish, captions, titles, brand-kit files, Vault items, Inbox messages | Provide the features you use |
| Edit and AI data | Edit settings, timelines, and for AI Polish: sampled still frames, audio loudness and motion curves, and transcript text you choose to send | Plan AI edits and check that every part of a clip is licensed |
| Rights and provenance | License grants, rights confirmations, file fingerprints (one-way hashes), credit lines, takedown history | Prove that clips are cleared; honor revocations |
| Voice consent record | For Your Voice: the consent phrase shown, the time, one-way hashes of the recording and transcript, quality scores, model version, your own-voice confirmation | Prove the voice is yours and that you consented. We do not receive the recording or the voice profile itself. |

How we use it
- To provide, secure and improve the Service and the features you request.
- To run licensing, provenance checks, revenue sharing, campaigns and payouts.
- To enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, prevent fraud and keep people safe.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, earnings and changes to our terms. We will only send marketing email if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To comply with law and respond to valid legal process.
We do not use your content or personal data to train AI models, and our AI provider does not use the data we send it to train its models.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only as described here. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising.
| Recipient | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, sign-in and file storage (United States) |
| Vercel | Website hosting and server functions (request logs) |
| Anthropic (Claude) | AI planning for AI Polish, captions translation and other AI features; receives only the frames, curves and text needed for the request |
| Stripe | Payments and payouts, once enabled. Stripe collects card and bank details directly under its own privacy policy. |
| Google / YouTube API Services | Google sign-in; YouTube metadata, view counts and posting to channels you connect |
| TikTok, Meta (Instagram, Facebook), X | Posting to accounts you connect; reading your public verification post through their official tools |
| Footage providers (Pexels, NASA, Wikimedia Commons) | Receive search keywords only, to find licensed footage. No account data. |
| Other users | Your public profile, published clips and credit lines; campaign owners see submissions to their campaigns; Inbox recipients see your messages |
| Authorities and others where required | To comply with law, valid legal process or reporting duties (for example NCMEC reports), or to protect safety and rights |
| A successor | If OnlyClips is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under this policy |
Sensitive data and biometrics
- Voice. Your Voice creates a voice profile from your recording on your device. OnlyClips does not capture or store your voiceprint or recording on our servers. We keep only the consent record described above. You can delete the profile in the app at any time, which revokes it on our side; clearing your browser storage removes it from the device.
- Faces. We use face detection (finding that a face is present, to blur it) on your device. We do not use face recognition to identify anyone, and we do not build face templates.
- Precise location is collected only with your permission and only for the feature you are using.
- If we ever plan to process biometric identifiers on our servers, we will tell you first, get your written consent, never sell them, and destroy them within one year after the purpose ends, as Texas law (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 503.001) and similar laws require.
How long we keep it
| Data | Kept |
|---|---|
| Account, profile and content | While your account is open. After a deletion request is processed, removed within 30 days, apart from backups that roll off on our provider's schedule. |
| Rights, provenance and takedown records | Life of the clip plus up to 4 years, to defend rights and copyright claims |
| Earnings, payments and tax records | 7 years, as tax and accounting law requires |
| Diagnostic logs | 30 days |
| Support tickets and reports | Up to 3 years |
| Voice consent record | Until you revoke your voice profile, plus up to 1 year as proof of consent |
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- access your personal data and get a portable copy (Settings → Download My Data);
- correct it (most fields are editable in Settings);
- delete it (Settings → Delete Account), except what we must keep by law;
- opt out of sale, targeted advertising and profiling with legal effects (we do none of these) and of marketing email;
- withdraw consent for location, voice or any other consent-based feature.
You can also email hello@onlyclips.app. We will verify your identity using your account email and respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days where the law allows, with notice). You may use an authorized agent with your signed permission. We will not discriminate against you for using your rights.
Appeals. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying with the subject "Privacy Appeal." We will answer within 60 days. If you are not satisfied, Texas residents may contact the Texas Attorney General (texasattorneygeneral.gov), and residents of other states may contact their state attorney general or privacy regulator.
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws: the categories, purposes, recipients and rights above are our notice under those laws. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale and sharing.
EEA, UK and Switzerland: we process data to perform our contract with you, with your consent (location, voice, marketing), for our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service, and to meet legal obligations. Your data is processed in the United States; where required we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses. You may complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
OnlyClips is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email hello@onlyclips.app and we will delete it.
Security
We use encryption in transit, row-level access rules in our database, hashed API keys, signed tokens for licensing and webhooks, and least-privilege access for staff. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and regulators as the law requires.
Changes
We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app before they take effect.
↑ Back to contents03Community Guidelines
What belongs here
- Sports plays, reactions and crowd energy you filmed or are licensed to use.
- Track days, car meets and legal driving footage.
- Storms, lightning, nature and space footage.
- Concerts and live events, where filming and sharing are allowed.
- Commentary and reactions in your own voice.
Zero tolerance: permanent ban, and reported where the law requires
- Any sexual or sexualized content involving a minor, real or AI-generated. We report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- Intimate images or video of anyone shared without their consent, including AI-generated "deepfake" intimate images (see Section 10).
- Content that promotes or supports terrorism or violent extremist groups.
- Credible threats of violence, or content that helps someone carry out violence against a person.
- Selling or arranging the sale of illegal goods, weapons, drugs or stolen accounts.
Not allowed
- Nudity and sexual content of any kind. OnlyClips is not an adult platform.
- Graphic violence, gore and serious injury shown for shock value, including fatal crashes and fights where someone is badly hurt.
- Harassment, bullying and hate: attacking people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious illness; targeted abuse; encouraging others to harass someone.
- Doxxing: sharing someone's private information, such as a home address, phone number or license plate together with identifying details.
- Dangerous acts: encouraging stunts, street racing on public roads, or challenges likely to cause serious injury.
- Self-harm: promoting suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
- Harmful falsehoods: deliberately false content likely to cause real-world harm, including fake emergencies and edited footage presented as a real event.
- Impersonation and deceptive AI: pretending to be someone else, or using AI to make a real person appear to say or do something they didn't (see Section 4).
- Unauthorized content: footage, music or other material you don't have rights to.
- Undisclosed ads: paid or sponsored posts without a clear disclosure (see Section 11).
- Spam and manipulation: fake engagement, bots, view fraud, misleading links, malware or scams.
Filming people
- Don't film inside private spaces such as homes, restrooms or locker rooms without consent, and don't record private conversations where the law requires consent.
- Don't post identifiable minors without a parent's or guardian's permission, and never in a way that could expose them to harm.
- Use bystander blur when people in a crowd aren't the subject. Anyone can ask us to blur or remove footage of themselves through the takedown procedure.
- Follow venue and event rules about recording.
Enforcement and appeals
Depending on how serious a violation is, we may remove content, add a label, limit its reach, withhold earnings tied to it, issue a strike, or suspend or ban the account. Three strikes in 12 months can lead to a ban. Zero-tolerance violations lead to an immediate ban. You can appeal any decision through the support page, and a person will review it.
Reporting
Use Report on any clip, the report form, or email hello@onlyclips.app. You don't need an account to report. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Where AI is used
| Feature | What AI does | Where it runs |
|---|---|---|
| AI Polish, Directed Polish, Compile, Multi Clip | Plans cuts, timing, captions, music and effects from sampled frames and audio curves | Planning by Claude (Anthropic) on our servers; rendering on your device |
| Auto-captions | Transcribes speech and times words | Your device |
| Caption translation | Translates caption text | Claude (Anthropic) |
| AI voices | Reads your script in a synthetic preset voice | Your device |
| Your Voice (beta) | Speaks your script in your own voice | Your device |
| AI Avatar, Ghost Mode, background swap, bystander blur | Cuts out, composites or blurs people in video | Your device |
The "AI Creative" label
- Clips that use Your Voice, an AI Avatar, AI compositing of a person into footage, or other substantial AI generation carry a visible "AI Creative" label.
- Routine processing such as trimming, auto-captions, bleeping profanity, noise removal and blur does not trigger the label.
- You may not remove, crop, cover or hide the label, and you must not present labeled content as real, unedited footage.
Your Voice (beta)
- Your own voice only. You may create a voice profile only from your own voice. You confirm it is you by reading a random phrase live; recordings of anyone else, including celebrities, public figures, family members or other creators, are prohibited even with their permission.
- On your device. The recording and the voice profile stay in your browser. We keep only a consent record (see the Privacy Policy).
- Your control. One voice per account. Delete it at any time in the app; deleting it revokes it and stops all further use.
- Use limits. Use it only for content you publish through OnlyClips under your own name. Don't use it to deceive anyone about who is speaking, for robocalls, fraud, political deception or to bypass voice-based security.
Likeness and real people
- AI Avatar, Ghost Mode and Record me may only use your own face, body and voice.
- Do not create content that makes a real, identifiable person appear to say or do something they did not say or do, unless it is your own likeness. This applies to public figures too, and it is enforced under state laws such as Tennessee's ELVIS Act and similar laws protecting voice and likeness.
- Never create sexual, intimate or degrading AI content of any real person.
- Never use AI to create or alter content about elections, candidates or emergencies in a way that could mislead viewers.
Faces: detection, not recognition
We detect that a face is present so it can be blurred or cut out. We do not recognize or identify people, compare faces across users, or keep face data.
AI providers and training
AI planning is performed by Claude, provided by Anthropic, under commercial terms that do not allow it to train on our requests. We do not use your content to train AI models. Open-source models that run on your device are listed with their licenses in our third-party notices.
↑ Back to contents05Creator & Earnings Terms
Independent status
You are an independent contractor. You decide when, where and how you create. You are responsible for your own taxes, equipment, insurance and business costs. Nothing in these terms creates employment, partnership, joint venture or agency.
Revenue share
When OnlyClips receives revenue that is attributable to a clip, it is split as follows, based on the plan of the creator who published the clip at the time the revenue is earned:
| Plan | Creator | Contributors | OnlyClips |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | 50% | 20% | 30% |
| Creator | 55% | 20% | 25% |
| Pro | 60% | 20% | 20% |
| Studio | 65% | 20% | 15% |
- Net revenue means the money OnlyClips actually receives for the clip (for example licensing fees, sponsorships, tips or memberships offered through OnlyClips), minus payment-processing fees, refunds, chargebacks and sales or similar taxes.
- Contributors are the people whose licensed footage appears in the clip, such as the filmers in a SuperVision multi-angle merge, which may include you. Their share is divided according to the footage used, and it never goes down when a creator upgrades.
- Money a platform pays you directly (for example YouTube or TikTok creator programs) is yours. OnlyClips does not receive or share it.
- Clip Programs, Rights Requests and Clip Campaigns use their own splits, shown on screen and below. Where they apply, they replace the table above for that clip.
Clip Programs and Rights Requests
- Owners and filmers license footage under Clause 8.3, set the clipper share (10–90%), rules and credit line, and can pause, stop or pull footage at any time. Pulling footage revokes the license; clips come down within 30 days.
- Clippers must accept the program terms, use only the footage and tools provided, keep the credit line, follow the rules and re-accept when the terms change. The split recorded when a clip is made applies to that clip.
Clip Campaigns (for clippers)
- You earn the advertised rate per 1,000 qualifying views, up to any per-clip cap and the campaign's remaining budget.
- Only clips made with OnlyClips from the campaign's footage, posted from your verified account on a platform the campaign pays for, with the required disclosure tag, qualify.
- Views are read through the platform's official tools where available. Otherwise you report them with proof, and the campaign owner approves them. Reporting false or inflated views is fraud.
- You verify an account by posting a public code we give you. We never ask for your social-media passwords.
Payouts
Status: payout processing is not live yet. Earnings are recorded in your ledger now and become payable when we launch payouts through our payment partner. We will announce it in the app.
- Earnings are held for a short review period (currently 7 days) before they can be withdrawn. The minimum withdrawal is US $10.
- You must complete identity and tax verification with our payment partner. You enter bank details only with that partner, never in OnlyClips.
- We may withhold, reverse or recover earnings tied to fraud, invalid traffic, chargebacks, refunds, or content that breaches Clause 8 or the Community Guidelines. We will explain the reason and you can appeal.
- If an account stays inactive with unpaid earnings, we will handle them under applicable unclaimed-property law.
Your responsibilities
- Disclose paid relationships clearly (see Section 11). Deals and campaigns check for the disclosure before paying.
- Report your income and pay your own taxes (see Section 12).
- Keep a verified account in good standing on each platform you post to.
06Campaign & Sponsor Terms
Funding and fees
- To launch a campaign, you fund its budget plus a platform fee of 15% of the budget. Until online checkout is live, campaigns are funded by invoice.
- The platform fee pays for verification, hosting and administration. It is earned when the campaign is funded and is not refunded, except for billing errors or where the law requires.
- Approved views are paid from the budget at your advertised rate, up to any per-clip cap. When the budget runs out, the campaign ends automatically.
- When you end a campaign, any unspent budget is refunded to you, less amounts already approved or under review.
Your duties as a campaign owner
- You must hold the rights to the footage you offer (Clause 8) and keep your Clip Program terms accurate.
- Review view reports promptly and in good faith. Don't reject valid views to avoid paying.
- Require a clear ad disclosure. Never ask creators or clippers to hide a paid relationship or to post fake reviews or testimonials, which the FTC prohibits.
- Don't promote illegal products or services, adult content, gambling where it is illegal, weapons, tobacco or vaping, or products targeted at minors in ways the law prohibits.
Sponsor deals
- Deal terms (deliverables, deadlines, payment, disclosure and any usage license for the content) are set in each offer. Creators keep ownership of their content. You get only the usage rights stated in the deal.
- OnlyClips is a platform that connects you. It is not a party to the creative work and does not guarantee results, reach or sales.
- You are responsible for your own advertising claims and for complying with advertising laws.
Fraud and disputes
We may pause a campaign or deal, reverse fraudulent views and return the related budget, or remove participants who break these terms. Disputes between sponsors and creators should go to support first; we will review the evidence and decide how held funds are released.
↑ Back to contents07Developer API Terms
- Access. API keys are available on the Studio plan. Keys are shown once and stored by us only as one-way hashes. Treat them like passwords and revoke any key that may be exposed.
- Scope. Use the API only to access your own account's data, or data a user has authorized you to access, for that user's benefit.
- Limits. Respect rate limits and don't try to get around them with multiple keys or accounts.
- No scraping or resale. Don't use the API to collect other users' content or data, to build a competing service, or to resell access.
- Data handling. Protect any personal data you receive, use it only for the authorized purpose, and delete it when the user asks or revokes access.
- Attribution. Keep credit lines and "AI Creative" labels attached to content you retrieve.
- Changes and suspension. We may change or version the API. We will try to give 30 days' notice of breaking changes. We may suspend keys that break these terms or put the Service at risk.
- The API is provided "as is" under Clauses 15–16 of the Terms.
08Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds
Automatic renewal
- Monthly plans renew every month, and annual plans every year, at the price shown at checkout plus any applicable tax, charged to your payment method until you cancel.
- We will show the price, billing frequency and how to cancel before you buy, and we will email you a confirmation.
- For annual plans, we will send a reminder at least 15 days and no more than 45 days before renewal.
Free trials
If a plan comes with a free trial, the trial length and the price that follows are shown at checkout. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the paid plan starts automatically. We will remind you before a trial of more than 7 days converts.
How to cancel
Go to Settings → Subscription and open the billing portal, or email hello@onlyclips.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
Price changes
We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price increase takes effect on your plan, and you can cancel before it applies.
Refunds
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, and we don't refund partial periods, except as stated here or where the law requires a refund.
- We refund duplicate charges and billing errors in full. Contact support within 60 days of the charge.
- If we remove a core paid feature mid-period, you can ask for a prorated refund (Clause 3).
- Campaign funding refunds follow Section 6.
- If you file a chargeback for a charge you authorized, we may suspend paid features while it is resolved.
Downgrades and failed payments
If you downgrade or a payment fails and isn't fixed within the grace period we tell you about, your account moves to the Free plan. Your content stays in your account, but features and revenue share follow the Free plan from then on.

Filing a takedown notice
Send a written notice to our designated copyright agent that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the URL or other information that lets us locate the material on OnlyClips;
- your name, mailing address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
Designated agent: Copyright Agent, OnlyClips LLC
Email: dmca@onlyclips.app
Mail: OnlyClips LLC, Attn: Copyright Agent, Bell County, Texas, USA. Full street address available on request from hello@onlyclips.app.
When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable the material, revoke the related license so the publish gate blocks new posts, and notify the uploader.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, send our agent a counter-notice with: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address and phone number with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district where OnlyClips may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the notice. We will forward it to the complainant and may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless they tell us they have filed a court action.
Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe. An account with three valid copyright strikes in 12 months will be terminated.
Misuse
Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can create liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Consider fair use before filing.
Trademarks and other rights
For trademark, publicity or other non-copyright complaints, email hello@onlyclips.app with the details.

How to request removal
Use the report form (no account needed), tap Report on the clip, or email hello@onlyclips.app with the subject "Removal Request." The form hides the clip right away. Include:
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is enough);
- a link to the content, or enough detail for us to find it;
- a brief statement that you have a good-faith belief the intimate image or video was published without your consent (or the consent of the person you are authorized to act for); and
- an email address or phone number where we can reach you.
You will get a reference number. We will remove the content and make reasonable efforts to find and remove known identical copies on OnlyClips within 48 hours, as the federal TAKE IT DOWN Act requires, and block it from being re-posted. Content involving a minor is also reported to NCMEC. You may also use NCMEC's Take It Down or StopNCII.org to help prevent the image appearing on other platforms.
Other privacy requests
If you appear in a clip and want your face blurred or the clip removed, or if a clip shows your private information or a minor in your care, email hello@onlyclips.app with a link. We review these requests promptly and act where the content breaks our guidelines or the law.
↑ Back to contents11Ad Disclosure Guide
- Be clear: use plain words such as "#ad," "Ad," "Sponsored" or "Paid partnership with [Brand]."
- Be upfront: put it at the start of the caption and, for video, say or show it in the video itself. Don't bury it in a list of hashtags or behind "more."
- Use platform tools too: turn on the platform's paid-partnership or paid-promotion setting, in addition to (not instead of) your caption disclosure.
- Avoid vague tags such as "#sp," "#collab," "#partner" or "#thanks."
- Be honest: only say things you actually believe about a product you have used, and never post fake reviews.
See the FTC's Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers.
↑ Back to contents12Tax Information
- U.S. persons provide a Form W-9 before their first payout.
- Non-U.S. persons provide a Form W-8BEN or W-8BEN-E. U.S. tax may be withheld at 30% on U.S.-source income unless a tax treaty lowers it.
- Information returns. Depending on how and how much you are paid, you may receive a Form 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC or 1099-K from OnlyClips or our payment partner, following the IRS thresholds in effect for that year.
- Sales tax. Subscription and fee prices may include or add sales tax where the law requires it.
